ReSound acoustic ceiling rafts integrated beautifully with planters and various lighting types.

Creatif was appointed by Workspace Design & Build (in collaboration with Mansfield Monk) to provide acoustic solutions during the fit out of this workspace Located in Manchester’s iconic Albert Square Union building – which is occupied by Munich Re Specialty Group.

A number of horizontally-suspended ReSound acoustic rafts have been installed in various open plan areas across the workspace to absorb sound waves that would otherwise be free to travel without obstruction – this results in an environment with less distraction from noise.

The rafts have been designed around a variety of different lighting styles, including both fixed spotlights and strip lighting. In addition, biophilic elements have been incorporated into the panel arrangements in places to compliment those seen throughout the rest of the space.

The fabric used to wrap the panels comes courtesy of Abbortsford’s Classic Melton range, adding to the array of soft textures on display within the space such as the tonal carpets and vast range of furniture.
