Akamai is the global leader in Content Delivery Network services, making the internet fast, reliable and secure for its customers, and boast offices across the globe.
In late 2016, Akamai announced the addition of a new set of UK offices in the Soho area of central London – a second-floor space totalling just under 9,000 sq ft. The building itself employs an ecologically-friendly roof that incorporates flowers, vegetation, grasses and habitats for insects, birds and bats.
Solar panels have also been installed, which provide carbon savings of up to 12%. Also installed was a low energy air conditioning system that uses 33% less electricity than standard solutions.
